Thankful Matthew made it safely to Oregon

Matthew had to fly to Oregon today to stay with his Dad for three weeks for his summer visitation. We will miss him, but we are all very thankful that he had a good flight. He said he flew with another 11 year old boy that sat next to him. They played cards and other games. The boy was from Minnesota.

I am very thankful that Matthew made it safely to Oregon and that he had such a good trip.

Thankful John Victor rolled over today

John Victor rolled over for the first time today. He is three months old and everyone was so excited that he rolled over. I am very thankful that he rolled over and that he is such a happy baby. Jill said that he is the happiest person she has ever known. We are both very thankful he rolled over.

Thankful for Traffic Signals

I am thankful for traffic signals. Without traffic signals driving would be much more chaotic. Driving seems more dangerous whenever we lose power and the traffic signals are blinking. My friends from India have told me how crazy driving in India is because they don't have traffic signals or any real rules to driving. I am glad we do have traffic rules and traffic signals in the United States.

I am very thankful for traffic signals.

Thankful for Tea

I am very thankful for Tea. Without Tea there wouldn't be tea parties. My 5 year old Hannah would be very dissapointed if there weren't such a thing as a tea party.

Nutrionist are finding more and more health benefits to Tea, especially Green Tea. I am very thankful for Tea.

In fact, it's time for me to go make some tea...

Flowers

I am thankful for flowers. I like flowers a lot. They are really pretty and they smell really nice. And sometimes they get picked. Sometimes they get picked by me, sometimes by Dad, sometimes by Mom, sometimes by Joseph, sometimes by Adam, sometimes by Matthew.

That's all...

The above was dictated to me by my daughter
Hannah Reath Manty (age 5)

Thoughtful Baby Shower Gift

My wife Jill threw a baby shower party for our friend Latrina yesterday. Jill got both the mother to be's mother and the father to be's mother a photo album for baby pictures. That is such a thoughtful baby shower gift. My wife always comes up with wonderfully thoughtful gifts for people. She could make a great living helping people find gifts.

I am very thankful for having such a thoughtful wife.
