I am thankful that I live in the United States of America. Despite all the bad things people talk about, this is still the best country in the world to live in. And I am super thankful to live in this country.

Yesterday was Hannah's birthday. She turned 6. I am very thankful Hannah turned 6 and that she had such a fun birthday party. Her cousins Danielle and Elizabeth slept over with her Grammie (Jill's mom).

Ii am thankful for Donald Trump's tv show the Apprentice. Not only is it fun to watch, but I learn something from it every week. Albeit, quite a few weeks the reason people go home is because they bring the wrong people into the boardroom.

Even though my alma matta (Florida State) got snubbed, I am still thankful for the NCAA tournament. It makes for some exciting basketball and is a lot of fun to watch.

Ok, so now that I have been driving the car for two days, I just have to repeat how thankful I am we have a new car. Not just because it gives us two cars, but also because I LOVE driving it. Our other car is a big SUV (Ford Expedition) and while I have gotten used to driving it, I feel SOOOOOOO much more comfortable driving a smaller car. I am very happy with it.

I am very thankful for Medical Insurance. This morning I went to get blood work done, and I didn't have my insurance card with me, so I have to go back some other morning. It was a bit frustrating, but on my way back I realized how thankful I am to have insurance.

As much as I enjoyed the Winter Olympics and as much money as my wife made from her blog on the Winter Olympics, I am still very thankful that the Winter Olympics are over. It was a lot of work for my wife to constantly write about the Olympics. But it was definitely worth while.

I have really enjoyed watching Taylor Hicks sing in the American Idol auditions leading up to the top 24. Last night, he sang the Elton John song "Levon" and he was awesome! I love watching him perform. You can just tell he LOVES music. To top it off, when I was a kid I owned an Elton John album with the song Levon on it and it was one of my favorites at the time. So hearing him sing a song I liked made it that much better.

There is a new show on CBS called "Love Monkey". It is really cool. It may be my second favorite show on tv right now. It's great because it has a little bit of everything in it (relationships with friends, business dealings, comedy, drama, etc.). It's a fun show to watch.

I am thankful for the television show called Numb3rs (aka. Numbers). Numb3rs is a really cool show. I love the way they use math to solve mysteries. It is a very unique show. Having a minor in Math makes me appreciate the show all that much more.

I really enjoy watching the television show LOST. It's not exactly child freindly, and it's a little bit odd, but it keeps me glued to my seat. It's defintely one of my favorite shows.

I am thankful for the Super Bowl. It is fun to watch and the commercials are fun to watch. This year my favorites were the magic Fridge, the Sprint "crime deterrent" cell phone, and the Caveman Fedex commercials.

I just had a major headache, that just would not go away. I took Ibuprofen and it's gone. I am very thankful for Ibuprofen. When nothing else works, it always gets rid of a headache for me.

I really enjoy watching the show American Idol. Especially, once they get to the final 12. It is fun to watch and I enjoy it a lot. I am thankful for American Idol and the great opportunity it provides many singers who would not otherwise might not have a chance to make it big.

I am very thankful for alternative medicine. I was ill Saturday with a sinus something. Took some vitamin c and elderberry and I was better by sunday afternoon. I am very thankful for alternative medicine (even it it wasn't the reason for the quick recovery).
