Thankful for the fourth of July

This is a bit belated... I am thankful for the fourth of July. It marks such an important date in the history of the United States. Also, we and our kids had a really nice fourth yesterday. We spent it with my brother-in-law, his wife and their two daughters, plus my mother-in-law. The kids had a great time and we all enjoyed eachothers company. The fourth of July is a fun day to celebrate our independence. I am very thankful for it.
