Thankful for Homeschooling

I am very thankful for being able to homeschool our children. This morning my 5 year old daughter woke me up and the first things out of her mouth were:
"Daddy I want to do my shool work before I eat breakfast."

We practice identity based homeschooling, which in a nutshell is homeschooling that is based on each individual child's learning style, and interests. It has been working great for us. It is a lot of work and it takes a lot of time to learn your child so well. However, it does certainly seem to be worth it, and I really love having my children look forward to school.

I am very thankful for indentity based homeschooling.
